1066 high idle

I am curious as to what the stock high idle rpm setting is on a 1066. I have found 2400 and 2650 are either of these correct? I have one that I am taking to a few local pulls and the rules say stock rpms per the m and w book? What the heck is m and w book? Shouldn't it be by the IH book? Or is the m an w book to my advantage? Thanks in advance.

Two different high idle specs for a 1066 gear drive tractor. Early model were 2400 rated engine speed with a high idle of 2630, later ones were 2600 rated engine speed with high idle of 2830. The rpm stamped on the name plate of the injection pump is the RATED full load governed engine speed. So many guys get rated speed and high idle speeds mixed up.

Blue ribbon service book shows early 9233 pumps were 2600 hi idle, 2400 full load. Later 9257 pumps were 2800 hi idle, 2600 full load, not sure about SN break change on early and late tractors.
