Need to make a temporary tank - what fittings?

Well, I need to make a temporary tank for my Farmall H. The current one just has too much junk in it. I have an IH carb on the tractor. [b:904072bc9c]Does anyone know what fittings I would need to either go into the carb or fuel line?[/b:904072bc9c]

1/4" pipe thread is what the carb entrance is. get a barb end for rubber hose with that male pipe thread on the otherside to hook rubber hose up to the carb.

Take your old line with you to the parts house and match the fittings from their inventory.

I would put a barb on the carb then run a rubber hose to the temp tank. Get a piece of hose made for gas.

That's the current plan. I've got an "extra" lawn mower tank coming my way from someone tomorrow and I'll get it plumbed and ready to run.
