found some water in the trans/diff is there any place water can get into hyd systems.
ie. plate under battery or seat?

The shifter boot is the biggest scouce.And then there is also condensation....

I just changed my fluid over the weekend and drained about 4 gallons of water out of the trans/diff....it had been sitting for a couple years, under cover in the barn so it was condensation for me. I was told that the shifter boot and the transmission gasket are common places for water to get in if left outside in the rain....

THE FILLER PLUG IS ALSO A SOURCE FOR WATER INFILTRATION. INSTALL A SHORT NIPPLE WITH A CAP.
