Farmall A plow

I believe it is an A-14 Middlebreaker plow. I looked in the gallery but unsure which parts get painted blue and/or red & white? Any thoughts on seeing a picture?

I painted the plow on the Farmall A back in 1976 yellow. It was heavily rusted and I had it sandblasted. The Cub plow I had still had some blue as you can see in picture and the disk harrow was red. Hal

Here's a PPG paint code in blue 10067 for IH. I would look at a paint chip to see if it's close. Looks like that Cub plow beam may have been painted red before being painted blue. I used New Holland's blue acrylic enamel on my Wards tractor back in 2010. It was $18.00 for quart. The number on the paint can is 63/00
and has this number under it 9613386DS. It's a nice shade of blue. Hal

I never knew the color of the coulter or the land wheel. Try placing a request over on the Implement & Paint forum. Someone may know the colors used. Hal

Ace Hardware sells a paint called International Harvester Blue, but if you search the archives the IH colors will be listed. I believe you will find that most all the A plow was blue. I know the beams in every case I have seen were blue.
