Massey Harris 44G and Farmall M Hydraulics

No. The pump will not work. If you want live hydraulics you need either an M&W pump or a pump off a 400/450. To use the 400/450 pump you need a front cover off a late M or Super M or 400/450. They had a wider bolt pattern. The three point will take so much modification that you are better to find an aftermarket one for an M. So really what you should do is sell the 44 three point to me and use that money to buy the correct parts. :)

Yeah they're perfectly compatible because after all, the major tractor companies weren't FIERCELY competing with each other for market dominance at the time... NOT.

Remember that saying "Farmall" in a Massey, Deere, Oliver, Ford dealership would get you tossed out the door quicker n' you could blink, unless it was prefixed by "trade my" and appended with "for a Massey/Deere/Oliver/Ford" as appropriate.

No, they are not compatible at all without some heavy modifications. I suppose a guy with a shop full of machine tools and nothing but time on his hands could make it work. That said, if you had to ask if it could be done, you do not possess the necessary knowledge and skills to do it.
