hello i have an old engine with a hand clutch that i think might have ran a sawmill it looks like a super a engine but it also has a dipstick for checking the oil. the serial number is uaa10554 z26 i appreciate any info on this engine thanks

Most saw mills took a lot more horsepower than could be delivered by a C113 motor. These engines were used to pull smaller loads like stationary feed mills and carnival rides.

Where is the governor? Right side = 113-153 engine. Left side = H or M or later. If its is a cub motor... Well it wasn't much of sawmill.

When I was a boy in the 60's I noticed the Carnarval Ferris Wheel Had an engine just like the one our Farmall C. It had a hand clutch also.
Saw these several times.

Just because it has a hand clutch doesent mean it was for a saw mill as there were lots of uses you would want a hand clutch.
