Splitting the rear of a Farmall Super A, 100,130, & 140

Split as in where?? Transmission or what?? Hard to help you unless you fill in the blanks. I built a BA a few years back so doing the engine/torque tube/ transmission I can tell you about but the side axle housings I have done a bit bit that was taking off but not going back on

That is a job that isn't all that bad depending on if you have a hoist set up or some such thing. I found that by lifting the engine off of the torque tube that it worked out better and all.

If your spliting it to put it back together.. then split it at the engine bell housing two floor jacks or one floor jack one bottle jack.. under each end. wedges up under the front frame to keep it from tipping side to side. split it there.. Then block up the rear end remove the bell housing torque tube and your ready to go.. if you need to remove the axle housings take them off first before spliting anything
