Have a Wd9 that ran fine when parked went to start it this spring it starts and runs fine however is blowing diesel fuel out of the injection pump where you would pour oil in what gives? seems to be going away some more I run it

Lift pump seal went out and it can't drain into the crankcase fast enough so it is overflowing the pump case?

it better not be draining into the crancase. but anyhow it should be drained and refilled with oil when going to use tractor as there is a pile of those tractors that leak diesel into the pump from the transfer pump.this way you can monitor it and see how much it actually leaks.

It seems like most of them that fill the pump then fill the crankcase. I would guess the seal between the pump and crankcase is generally bad, but it doesn't matter unless the lift pump fails.

there is no lift pump on any of there tractors. its called a primary pump.cockshutts have lift pumps.

What's the difference? What is a scavenger pump? I have heard that one tossed around as well. Either way I'm sure he gets the one we are talking about.
