I have what I think is a no.25 mower.I don't have what hooks to the tractor to lift the mower nor do I know what it looks like.Is it a cylinder or a cable or a hand lift?Any pictures or help would be great help.Thanks.

Thought someone would have replied. It depends a lot on what tractor you are putting it on. The Farmall Hs and Ms were easy. They bolted on the drawbar. Could have a manual lift lever Orrr a combination of a cultivator cylinder and cable on a roller.Don't have a picture, but have the manual for a 27 VA which describes the hitchs for most all other make tractors.

I have an operators/parts manual that is in very poor condition has been wet mouse chewed and pages getting hard to read but if you want it make me an offer that will at least pay the postage. or I could try to email or snail mail some pics scanned from the book. Email me for more info at [email protected] From what i could see in the book it had 2 different hyd lifts for the m & h tractors and also a foot and a hand lift all 4 were options. hope this helps Travis

There was a lever lift and a small cylinder option. I had a lever on mine before I put in a belly pump in my H. The mounting bracket connects to the mower with 2 bolts. There are 2 flat pieces that fasten the mower bracket to the drawbar on the tractor. Next chance I get, Ill snap a few pics. Good luck

I have a GL-25-VO, which is almost identical to the 25V. We had the lever arrangement, which is very good for giving the elbow a good hard crack! My grandfather fitted a two-way hydraulic cylinder, which made it far easier to use. You just time operation correctly and the cutter bar lifts just as it reaches the end of a row. The same for starting a row. The two-way cylinder makes sure that the cutter bar lifts and lowers at the same speed.
