Farmall C steering universal joints

How do you lubricate the steering shaft universal joints? Mine don't have any grease fittings or provisions to add them. I tried just squirting oil on the needle bearing/cross interface but it is iffy at best due to the seals.

Whoever replaced them last used sealed "permanently lubricated" universals. If they seem like they need lube, they are shot and need to be replaced.

I had to replace them on a Super C as they didn't have any zerk fittings on them. I bought the u-joints from our local IH dealer and they came with zerk fittings. Made a big difference in the steering. Hal

They have never been replaced as the tractor is all original. I tried to drive the pin out of the one at the front end but was unsuccessful. I guess you have to drill them out.

I changed mine on the tractor. didn't pull the pins.
