Gave son-in law loader off smta. Putting live pump on (shutter from case combine). Question is can the origional valve be used in i-h resorvior??? Will disconect old pump drive, just one way cylinders on loader with trip bucket not wanting to buy valve in possible to use origional. Will also post in I-H forum

Could you make things a little clearer. Is it going on a SMTA or a H,SH or M,SM with a liftall inside the clutch housing.

It can be done with some work. Suction opening in the liftall pump needs blocked off and the pressure line from the pump adapted into the pump driveshaft hole after shaft and gears are removed.

I think I would just buy a 2 way valve.

Your also going to not want to butcher that SMTA hydralic system. You might be better off to sell that tractor and buy one that is better suited to your uses.

loader is FROM smta which has live hyd. going on old M without live hyd thats why adding case mag drive pump

As D Slator indicates it certainly can be done. It is better however to have two hydraulic systems on the tractor than one. I would buy a TSC, Or Farm Fleet single acting valve, and a reservoir to keep the Liftall operational. Jim
