B-414 decals vs emblems

The B-414 tractors came with oval decals and metal decals on the fuel tank. MY assumption was the decals were early versions and the metal emblems came on later models. If that is true, is there as serial number break like on the 1206 that would note when the decals were changed to metal emblems?

Also, would anyone know just how many Hi-Clears may have been made of the B-414's vs the regular utility chassis?

Hi Jeff, we had a late 1961 early 1962 B414D and it had the oval decal on the fuel tank. The only B414 I every saw with metal emblems on fuel tank was in the UK. I believe if you search the archives you will find the answer to this question. IIRC MJ in UK answered the question.

OOPS, getting old memory is not as good as used to be. The B414 with metal was on external_link.

Possibly B414s assembled in USA??
