Looking at a 560 gas. It needs a hydraulic pump, exhaust manifold and new raditor hoses. It has been sitting. Clutch and T/a seem fine. Rubber is rough. Sheet metal is clean. What is a decent price? Thanks

What does it weigh? what is scrap bringing in your area? Has the rear end been fixed (triangle stamped into the SN plate)OR was it made after the troubles? Fast hitch? 3 Point? You probably got $2k of repairs between tires and the other stuff so I'd think you need to be into it under $2K maybe closer to $1K. Also remember this is the tractor that was the beginning of the end for I H, this was the model that allowed John Deere to sell more tractors.

A decent, usable gas 560 around here (IN) would be $2000-3000. If the clutch and t/a are ok I assume you have driven it? With tires, radiator parts, manifold and other unseen issues it is going to cost more than 2K in parts to fix. Then there is labor, unless you do all the work. Personally I wouldn't spend more than $750-1000 on it. If you look hard there are better tractors out there.

It turns out, it wont cost me a dime. We ended up trading. I'm going to round bale 50acres for him. I may have more in the tractor when it's done than what it's worth, but I remember the one my grandpa had and I raked alot of hay on one. Since then I have always wanted one fully restored so he can drive one, one more time. I will have lots of questions coming up. I appreciate the help. thanks.
