IH Tractor Identification

I just bought an IH Tractor.
The sheetmetal has IH 350.
The Tractor S/N is 30295 SJ
(Can't read the model number on the plate)

The Engine Block is marked C-169.
the S/N is 59936

I looked at the engine specs for the IH 350 and it lists the C-175 as the engine.

What have I got here?
Is this the correct engine for the IH 350 or do I have IH 350 sheetmetal on an IH 300.

Thanks for any help on these questions.

You forgot about the 300 engine in a 350 option.

Looking at that serial number it is SUPER high compared to the first number of the last year of the 350. It isn't too much higher than the first number of the last year of the 300. I am not an expert on the hundred/fifty series tractors, but on a letter series there would have been a prefix infront of that number.

Tractor and engine serial is for a 300 utility built in may 1956.

Where do I find details on Tractor and Engine S/N's such as Month of Mfr.?

Looked at my own list but you can find the monthly beggining serial numbers for tractors and engines by searching for wisconsin historical society. Then search there for international harvester co. serial number list. Find the one for farmall works then the year 55 and 56.
Figure out the month the serial numbers fall between. Example first built I-300 may 56 is 29610 and the first serial for june is 30544. First engine # for may is 58802, first for june is 60306. If I didn't mess up the numbers you have fall between the above. Also the serial number you have is higher than 350 tractors went.
