Farmall Cub final drives

Is the Left and Right final drives the same? I have a cracked housing and wanted to know if the housings are at least the same.

Yes, one part number below serial no. 52199 and one above.

Housings are the same L - R on any given tractor. Some internal parts (like input shaft and axle) are not. Lo-Boys are different from Farmalls and different L - R.

I dont know about the Cub but the A and B arent the same because there isnt any place for the brake rod to go. You would need to cut the cast for the brake rod. You can look at yours and see if there is a place for the brake rod when its moved from left to right. Had to fix an A because there wasnt and brakes on the left side and thats why they had replaced a right and put it on the left and no brake rod.
