Replacing F 12 intake/exhaust manifold studs

I'm replacing the intake/exhaust manifold studs on my F12. The studs screw in to the water jacket of the head. What's the best way to seal them against coolant leaks? I'm thinking of using high temp RTV. Other suggestions are appreciated.

That's why they use studs and not cap screws. You run the stud in until the threads are tight and they seal themselves. I'd use a little gun grease.

Run a tap through the threads to get them clean, apply Lock-Tite. (any color)

Like other post said clean with a tap and you can use anything to seal ive just used grease.
