O rings are leaking. they are a 2 piece, one o ring, and and a flat one. Dealer didnt have the 2 piece arrangement, gave me a signle ring said thats the new style, but Iam using adapters to couple poinner fittings and that new ring will not let it, the adapter ,plug in. Has anyone worked with this style? Will have to use the 2 puece arrangement otherwise. thanks

The two piece is just an o-ring and backup. The dealer probably gave the wrong size o-ring. The old style will work with just a o-ring.

He must have given you the quad ring which has two sealing edges and is a better seal, BUT, they do give problems with coupling certain couplers and can be a real bear to couple with any coupler in sub zero temperatures. The original o-ring and back up washer are my preference. The back up washer can be a pain to get in properly and like one said it will work without, probably won't give long life though.

Thanks, yes that is what he gave me. I will go back to the orginal. Have had the tractor for 25 years and this the first in about 5 years or better that I have replaced the one outlet.(has 2 outlets and dont think I have ever did that one and it gets alot of use.) Almost would, but wont, convert them to the style our 1026 and 856 have, the just one simple o ring if still leaks coupler may be getting bad. Thanks again will return these, almost $5 apiece.
