repower an 856

Spun a bearing on my 856. Still not sure if we can save the crank. Can"t find a different one either. My question is have any of you guys repowered an 856 with a 414 engine or others?

Have seen many 856,806,1256,706 even 560. converted to 414 436 and 466. I have a 706 that is getting a 466 transplant.Their is allot of older combine engines 815 up to 1480,s out their needing a home in a tractor.

Agree, a lot of 407 combine engines out there. I know a guy who repowered a 1206 with a 407 out of a '15 series combine.

I asked this question a while back. And got the answer if you change the frame rails, and the back plate and a few other changes it can be done.
Now like said there are plenty of old combine engines looking for a home.
