HELP - need to find obscure Super A rims - pics included.

I found a nice, complete front end in a salvage yard. I'm having difficulty finding rims like this. Any info?

Those are just common A wheels.Plentiful.As others
have said, they are available from multiple
scources(this site,OEM,Stiener,Steel
Wheels,etc.).Those wheels are quite repairable.If
you dont have the skills, take to someone who does.

They're not so common as to me being able to find this exact rim anywhere.

You could try Bates Corporation Bourbon In. (1-800-248-2955) They may have them because they do part out older Farmall & IH tractors. Also Hein & Son Mishawaka,In (574-633-443400) deals in used farm equipment parts.

I bet I have 2 maybe more of those laying around. When I built my BA which is half B half A I think I had at least a pair of those I did not use. But they are a pretty common rim

The original rims, aftermarket or otherwise are no longer produced -- salvage is the only answer. I suppose the 3 lugs could be removed and attached to new rims, though.

Thank you. I appreciate the straight answer. Are blank rims an option?

If you only look for those rims on a Super A, you may have trouble finding them. But adjustable wheels on anything from an A to a 230 will go on. Some may be a different size rim.

Your other option is to change the wheels out for the non-adjustable type. They use a blank rim. Non-adjustables are pretty common on a Super A.

I wrecked that style of rim on my 400. I cut the lugs off the bad rim and welded them in to a 16" spare tire type rim from the junk yard. If only I had welded them facing the correct side, it would have been a great job.

Thank you,

So, Do If I order this one: http://www.ytmag.com/57095D_4429.htm

The Triange shaped part of the rim that holds the rim to the wheels goes on front of the wheel. Correct?

Hs and Ms have the same type of rim. Usually I set the rims inside the hub but you can configure it as needed.

That's the way I want to do it too, I just want to make sure the rim I'm going to buy will work like that.

The rims you are looking at are later rims, I don't know if they were an option, or whether the older rims were not longer standard when these came out. I believe you can still buy aftermarket blank ones that will accept the lugs, but I'm not sure. Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch may have the used ones you are looking for. I got 2 for a Super M last week, he may not have them for a SA. 785-548-7437--no Sunday calls.

If those at are 4"x15" rims they are common here around Houston.
I probably have about 6 extra's. They are off of the Super C's that I
have collected for parts.

If you have a salvage yard nearby, do like Jim Becker said and look at A,Super A ,100, 130,B, C, Super C, 200 ,230 and look in the Case section too. The VAC used them too. I got a pair of rims on my Dad`s Super C from a VAC-exact same rim.

(quoted from post at 06:07:02 05/26/12) Do you want original as the ones on the market now are not like original.

Gene, at this point I just want to buy some brand new and put em' on.

Now it looks like I'm going to have to change wheels just to put new rims on it.
