SH rocker arm assembly

There is a 3/8" tube that goes across the rocker arm assembly. It has a weep hole in one end near the 90 bend. Does this go to front or rear of head?
Alos there was one washer under head bolts which one gets the washer?

Rear. the answer to your other question was answered a while back--I don't remember it. You might check the archives. You might say head bolt and go back at least 2 months.

The tube only fits properly one way as the curve and length are a little different. Hole wouldn't care either way but rocker arm might touch if wrong. Far as washer, look at head closely where studs come up through. Any one that has a spacer pressed into head requires a washer. Might be one or two depending on head. I also like to see them on the throttle mounting plate for better torque characteristics .
