706 New Switch

How hard is it to install a new switch in a 706 gas?? I got a new key, but won"t fit the current switch..someone changed it over the past 47 years...so, I"m going to Case IH and get a new original switch..how hard to do??

Just be careful when you remove the instrument panel, that you don't spill all the blinker fluid.

Before removing the dash panel I would suggest that you remove the ground cable from the battery. Things just go better without all that smoke and sparks when the wires touch where they are not designed to touch. Good luck
