Farmall 300 Carb help

I've got a good running (normally) 300 with some carb isssues right now. While plowing, the carb flooded on us and wouldn't start. We dropped the lower carb off to check it out and lost the needle. Picked up a new needle and gasket and reassembled. It ran perfectly for a couple hours without missing a beat and then stalled out. The carb was flooded again, but after removing the carb, inspecting and reassembling, we can't get it to fire. Anything I'm missing with the needle or float? (no leaks in the float). Fuel is flowing fine from the bowl to the carb. Float adjustment? Anything to look for with the needle? Thanks!!

If it has flooded again could have some dirt in the fuel system and that in turn gets in the needle seat and keep gas flowing when it should not be. Also check your air cleaner it could be clogged and that will cause odd problems

I like to take the plug out of the bottom of the
carb and make sure the fuel is actually getting in
the bowl. I have had floats stick shut as well as
open.

Removed the float and shook it...fuel inside, so it"s got a leak. We"ll replace it and see if that does it. Thanks for the help so far - I"ll let you know if the new float does it.
