spark plug numbers for WD9

I am looking for the correct sparkplugs and plug numbers for a 52 wd9 it has two different ones in it now and seems to be skipping wanted to start with new plugs got a show to go to next weekend would like to bring tractor if we can get a number maybe local parts store can get them they did good on getting plugs for the I9 last week for 3 bucks a piece just had to buy 10 better than 8 a piece else where Thanks

Champion D-89D, if I remember it correctly. It has been a while. Don't know if it is a good number today. It is a starting point. They had a rather long reach. HTH, best Yeoman

Champion D89D if 18mm thread, or W89D if 7/8" thread.

How would I tell if they are metric or the standard thread I know they are a long reach electrode. I don't have the plugs here to refer back to them they are at Dads house with the tractor thanks are there different heat ranges or a ceartian plug anyone has had better luck with than others Thanks Dave

Dave - Your '52 will have 18 mm plugs. So get the D89D.

AFIK there are no heat range options for this plug. It's an oddball design pretty much unique to the IHC gas-start diesel.

Incidentally AC and Autolite once cataloged D89D equivalents but I doubt they are available today.
