806 diesel quit running

So I was headed towards the barn after running the hay teddder yesterday when my 806 diesel died on me. One plus it died in the barn yard. The tractor started fine and ran like normal when I was out in the field. So far I replaced the fuel filters, pulled the line at the pump there is a good flow there, pulled one of the banjo fittings on the pump and there is no flow there. Pulled the cover off the timing mark port and cranked the engine and the pump is turning. The pump was overhauled last summer when it wouldn't start and it ended up being the fuel tank cap the return line pressure was making the pump shut off. That made for an expensive lesson. Any ideas what it could be? The pump is a stanadyne don't remember the year of the 806 but the serial number is 4641 y

Thanks Jeff

Remove the return line on the top of the pump. If the tractor runs and there is fuel coming out of the open fitting check the return line for blockage. If the tractor doesn't run and there is no fuel coming out of the return fitting, remove the fitting and see if it is plugged.

I was having problems with mine quiting unexpectedly when I was chopping one year and it was a soybean seed that would cover the outlet in the bottom of the tank. Just a thought. Gene
