had the large bearing separater, but really didn't feel like taking the trip or spending the cash on a large puller. The one I have is just a hair too small.
So we improvised. wouldn't say it worked perfectly, but well enough to get the job done.
The only downside was - despite trying not to let him see it, but my buddy came around the corner, saw this, and immediately started into me on how I have to rely on john deere parts to fix a farmall...
