Model 340 Bolster Weights?

Hello!

I was out working my food plot earlier this week, disking my plot. In watching my reference points, I noticed the "nose" of my tractor lowering each time I lowered the fast hitch disc harrow. At that point, I realized that the hydraulic lift of my tractor could benefit from some front end weights.

Does anyone know where I could purchase a set of original (or after-market) bolster weights designed for an International Model 340 Utility?

I just checked the CL listing ... are you the gent with the bolster weights for a C thru 240? If so, according to my not-so-local Farmall dealer, the bolsters for a 340 are bigger and fit only the 300 series and select 400 and 600 tractors! Thank you for your reply and the offer!

The weights for the c thru 230 are different. Teh 404, 240, 340 and a few other are the same. The 300,400,450 weight are different yet. The weights that I have will fit your tractor. I have two adds on craigslist, one is for the c thru 230 and the other is for the 404,240,340.

I`m curious what part # is on the weights you have for the 404, 240 & 340. The original weights for the 240 & 340 are part # 371389R1 LH side & 371390R1 RH side. These will NOT fit on a 404, believe me I have tried and failed !! The part # for the 404 weights are 371389R3 & 371390R3. Only difference in the part numbers is the change from R1 to R3 at the end of the part #. These weights WILL fit all 3 models. The difference is there is more clearance on the inside part of weight where it comes around to the front to clear the sheet metal below the grill on the 404. Not trying to be a smart---, just clearing up any confusion.
