Rim Interchange

Yes. Those rims were all built by Goodyear, or Firestone, or some other company.

Only thing to keep in mind is that the drop center rims will not interchange with the double bevel style.

Thanks for the information and I appreciate your help.

Trying to trade for some used tires and rims.

Wanted to make sure rims would interchange.

For what it's worth, I've seen several older Farmalls with at least one John Deere yellow rear rim.

Ya know, at least have the decency to slap some aluminum rustoleum on the rims before you mount them...

Usually remove the tire and and get the rim/wheel sand blasted to remove all the rust dating back to the original owner.

Sometimes I've used a grinder with a wire wheel.

Add primer and yellow paint to help prevent future rust.

Clean the bead on the tire, if not a new tire, and remount the tire with a new inner tube.

(quoted from post at 19:31:21 05/14/12) Probably increased the value of the tractor at least a couple hundred dollars.

He's right! See, the problem is that those old Deere parts were so badly made that danged few of them survived, so any that can be found are at a premium for restorers. :p
