I have gone completely through this 1206.The pump and
injectors have been done and it smokes whiteish when
Timed properly at 8 degrees before TDC.If I advance it
All it will go it runs better and the smoke almost goes
Away.I am unsure as to why it operates this way and
How to straighten it out.

Timing line on weight retainer inside pump may not be where it should be, is checked on degree plate on pump assembly. White smoke will be worse if all valves in cylinder head are lower than they should be as compression will drop when both valves and seats are ground, best to do a compression test to verify. If tractor starts OK and pulls on dyno OK with timing advanced I would run it. May want to have pump shop recheck advance curve while on engine too.
If engine is just rebuilt have seen them get better after running awhile too.

Get a timing window and put it on to observe automatic advance. It should start to advance at about 1000 rpm and be fully advanced by 2100. Each mark is two degrees on window and it should advance 5 degrees, 2 1/2 marks. Lots of pumps come from pump shops with improper adjusted automatic advance. Don't ask me why but it seems to be a common problem. Also, I found one 361 engine where the timing marks on the flywheel were incorrect. Eight degrees off.
