H Seat Shock Absorber Options...

Got off of the new H today & plopped down onto the seat of ol' faithful H to my painful dismay. The shock is shot & apperantly the seat sits a bit lower. Sooo, while I wait for the anti-inflamitory to kick in, I figured I would ask about a replacement shock. Actually, I was thinking about a different route. Does anyone know if there's an air spring that will take the place of the shock or both the shock & spring? Also, if there's a air spring that will fit, what's the best place to tap power from the engine to power an air compressor?

Thanks,
Mike

The shock will not hold the seat up, it just takes the bounce out of the spring.

I got a 450 that the seat did same thing. I replaced shock and it didn't help much. I replaced the spring and was fine after that. The old spring was getting soft.

This is one way.

Here's another. I suggest you get a 6V or 12V small electric compressor. Should find them on eBay.
