New to me B Farmall, need to know where to check fluid level for tranny and pto.All I can find is a small plug on left side of tranny down low,is this the full level check plug for tranny? don"t see any thing for pto except plug in top to add oil.
Thanks 4 your help Ralph

Thats the plug behind the brake rod for level in the tranny and the belt pulley getsits oil from the tranny. You can remove the fill plug and see if there is any there as the passage can get plugged. You dont need any lube in the belt pulley unless you are going to use it. By removing the fill plug and turning the drive over you will see if there is any there.

Thanks Gene thats what i needed to know I was pretty sure that the small plug behind the brake rod was the fluid level check, but was not sure about the belt drive, which I will be using as the Tractor has a woods mower on it

If you are going to use a Woods it sure wouldnt hurt from time to time just take off the filler plug to make sure the fluid is O.K. That is a great combo the B with a Woods. Ive had one since 63.
