Price for 53 Cub

1953 cub with sickle mower, missing starter, tires weather checked but good tread, some oil seeps at gaskets. Guy is asking $1500. What do you guys think is a good price?

$1500 seems a little high, but I saw a good running Cub sell at auction in west TN with about every attachment for $2500 a few weeks ago. Bought a 49 Cub, good tires, cultivators, sickle mower and rotary belly mower with a B Farmall thrown in for $350. Cub needs generator and carb and mag overhauled before trying to start it, but engine has good compression. "Pig in a poke" I am sure.
