farmall hood

i have a farmall hood that is about the size of one that goes on an H it has 3 large holes in it and 2 of the 3 are across from eachother closest to opperator and oil psi and wagter temp holes are not perrfectly round they have a flat side on the bottem can anyone help me

The holes for the gauges ARE flat on the bottom. The other three holes are for the exhaust on the left side, air cleaner intake pipe also on the left side, and directly across from the intake hole, but on the right side, is where the filler neck for the small, gasoline starting tank lives.
 
The gauges don't fit in the holes, they fit in a bracket that lines up with the holes. The holes are fine.
