Can anyone point me to a diagram of the order for installing cam gear, oil seals, spacers, pulley, lock washer, nut, engine mount, front cover eetc. on both the front and back ends of an F-20 crankshaft? Mine was all apart when I got it. I searched this sight but am at my in-laws farm with just my phone for internet. And my service manual doesn't have this info. I got the crank in with new main bearings and the bearing cages are bolted in. But I'm at a loss for which comes next and in what order.

Thanks,

Dan

You should buy this shop manual on ebay. It covers the F12,F20 and F30. Search this number. Hal

the new, and old shop manuals on these engines are crap at best. the only way to truly see how things fgo together is to get a PARTS book since it has full cut-away views of the engine and most assemblies on the tractors.

This manual has a lot better pictures than my shop manual or parts book. Not entirely sure about felt seals, but it appears there is only one felt in the font between the front cover and the fan pulley. And one larger felt on the back end of the crank.

I have two other types of felt series from Rice, one which I think is for wheels? And not sure on the other. Their parts numbers were not in the reference list in the back of my posts manual.

Anyhow, got the front end together except for the engine mount and fan pulley and got the head and water manifold on. I put the original 4 inch pistons into bored out used sleeves, new bushings and tenanted connecting rods.

Next time I get up North to where the tractor is at, I plan to do the bell housing end and lift the engine into the frame.

Thanks for the help!
