Does any body know how much oil an h holds I dont want to put too much in but I opened the pitcocks and none is running out yet

Make sure it is dripping out the top petcock !!!!!

Don't worry about putting too much in. These old girls are pretty forgiving, as the crank case is not sealed-there is a draft tube. Its better to have too much than not enough. Six quarts w/filter is the correct amount when changing oil. We always added a quart if the top petcock didn't show a drip when using them every day back when. We farmed 800 acres with 4 H's back in the mid 50's to early 60's. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Was just thinking the same thing.

Open it up and blast it out with compressed air.

Might knock a little crud into your oil, but that's what filters are for.
