Regular wheels

My regular came with an extra set of rear wheels they are rubber wheels. Are they worth anything? I would like to get a set of steel wheels and already have rubber wheels on it so I don't really need them.

Probably not worth a lot of money, kinda depends if
they are cuttoffs,or cast,or something else.Post a
pic so we can see what you have.Just DON'T haul them
to the scrapper!

Fireman, I am sure someone could use them for a good price. Post pictures in the photo adds on left of page. oldiron29

If they are like these round spoke wheel rims... these recently sold-ebay for $201.50. One spoke was broken loose from the rim, otherwise looked in good condition by the close-up photos.

If flat spoke, I don't have a clue as to value. We have a set of those too, but the rims are poor condition - so they are going to scrap yard.

Dont scrap em!!if the hub is good, you can weld a newer rim on.I have done that.If I was close,I would be interested....

DeltaRed,

Ours are not round... they are flat spoke. This is a pic of our Regular - before we put steel wheels on.

Do these actually have value beyond scrap price when the rims are junky? If yes, what is an approximate value? I'm just curious as I'm not certain we'd want to mess around with advertising/selling them. Thanks.

personally i value cutoffs as scrap. I dont care for them simply for the fact that ive seen so many that were done in a very poor fashion with not so good welds. i prefer roundspokes or steel wheels. If your not as picky cut offs work just fine, its all in your budget and what you prefer

location and shipping potential cost are always the main factor. I have a pair of cutoffs for an F-30, that the rims are shot, but the hubs and spokes are in very good condition. I should scrap 'em, but are keeping them around in case someone needs them. I will give them away to someone looking for them, but the $10 I'll get from scrap (if that) isn't that attractive to me.

So, in your case, put out an add for $25-$30 bucks and see what happens. The reality is, these are NOT being made anymore. The other reality is, that cutoffs are not worth as much as the round spokes are. Either way, someone can use them, and what little extra $$ you might get on a load of scrap isn't that much.

Your call, your wheels. Personally, I would sooner give my F30 hubs to someone who needs them rather than scrap 'em.

I agree I would much rather someone that needed them have them. I wouldnt scrap them because heck I dont scrap anything ever thats my problem. I always think well they dont make these anymore or hey this is an original not a repro. and I might need it one day or someone else might. An older man told me one time after giving me some parts that he had rather just give me the parts I need than haggle with some idiot over 50 dollars
