1466 open station

Had a question of how hard it was to switch the 1466 to open station...the cab is getting pretty bad...How much does the platform run around and the fenders...I dont think the cab is too difficult to remove...I think the hard part is going to find the platform and fenders....Will the platform from other 66 series work?

The fenders are the worst part on all of mine i just bought new ones the cab platform will work with fenders if you want. The cab is very easy to remove.

Here is a pic of the old cab platform i forgot to say you also have to get diffrent battry trays.

I removed the cab from my Hydro 100.used the original platform.installed fenders and battery trays,plus a few 'incedentals'.it was a simple job.
