IH Valve Seals....

I've seen a bit of chatter on here about valve seals. I wouldn't mind a few myself. Are these the Perfect Circle type seals? If so, there only $8 and one penny from CaseIH, for my H. Not too shabby, considering I just paid $38 for a dinky little spring that goes on the hydraulic break-away post. Fer Pete's sake!

Yes thats the same type. My opinion is they are overrated. Better off to have the guides and valves within specs. Used them a lot back in the 70 tees.

The machine shop that just rebuilt my Super C head used the ones supplied in the overhaul kit I bought off this site. They are the rubber umbella type. The guy at the machine shop said no faster than the engine runs, they will work just fine. So far I have been happy with them.
