bleeding brakes on a 574 diesel????

Ya open the bleeder on the side your working on ans just press the pedal down lightly and when the fluid comes close the bleeder and let up on the pedal . then do the other side the same way. Now this may solve your problem and maybe it won't. As you may have other issues that may need work.
 

I have a pdf concerning brakes for an IH 674 which should be similar to your 574. If you want a copy just email me (check my profile for address). I have a 454 and have not had to do this repair however ran across the document and saved it for the future.
