Blue Ribbon A

Does anyone know anything about the super A's with a blue ribbon decal on the grill? There is one on ebay and it caught my interest.

I might be wrong, but I think they were just a service sticker put on by the dealer. Nothing special other than you had a dealer fix instead of a farmer fix.

You are not wrong. The Blue Ribbon was a
reconditioning program where the dealer would go
through the tractor and put it back to IH specs. An
original survivor would be interesting. Those decals
have been reproduced. What is it? Ebay item number
please.

(quoted from post at 19:22:32 04/27/12) 46 Bids! And it still has 6 days to go
heck the bid history. 46 bids, 45 from the same bidder. He sat there and upped his bid 43 times trying to out bid the other bidder!

From what I can see, the bid is still pretty reasonable.

Would they Blue Ribbon Recondition any tractor or only the little ones? I figure my WD-9 may get the Blue Ribbon if they had the program for the 9 series. After all, I am doing nothing more than Blue Ribbon service on it.
