Implements for a Farmall A

What is the model of plow that mounts in the center of the Farmall A? My brother inherited my fathers tractor and at one time it had a center mount one bottom plow and we are trying to find one and restore it to put on the tractor again. Any info would be greatly appreciated. The tractor is an early A between 42 and 48. Thank you.

I believe it's the A-192

If by mid-mount you mean mounted to the reversed drawbar.

I have a picture of that plow on a Farmall A I restored in 1975-1976. As stated you need to reverse the drawbar. You will also need the levers shown in the pic that tilts the plow point
and the long lever lowers and raises the plow.
You will need the brackets shown to mount the plow on the tractor. It did a nice job plowing my garden. The engine was stuck when I bought the tractor. Hal

I have a plow that came with the busted up A I got and will most likely never use it. Big problem would be where you are since shipping would not be cheap. My E-Mail is open as it always is

You guys are on the money, I have a Super A and an A-192 plow, not to hard to mount.

The A-192 was built from 1941-1951. It had a wishbone bracket that fastened to the steering sector a lift lever and a depth lever along with a rockshaft. You do remove the drawbar to mount the plow. The rockshaft has a leveling handle to set the plow. I have a lot of the parts for mounting one. I did have a complete one that went with the tractor owner was going to restore. I also have the parts info for them. The plow also could use the exhaust lift if the tractor was so equipped.

Your beam is connected to the wishbone bracket mounted to the steering sector so where is and what does the drawbar do.

Did they make a center mount plow for this tractor? I seem to remember the plow being right in the center so you can look down and check your surroundings. The tractor has a hand lift on it and I thought you lift it with the hand lift but again I could be mistaken. Thank you for the information. I will take this info and see what we can find. I appreciate it as always.
