300 Hydra-touch

I was wondering if IH used special o-rings between the Hydra-Touch valves and the blocks that contain the lines. I have replaced mine twice with standard kit o-rings and had one blow out yesterday while loading manure. Mine has 2 working valves, one to the fast hitch and one I plumbed for the loader. Any advice appreciated.

Teflon based Orings are available that are substantially tougher. Make sure the two surfaces are gasket free, and flat before assembly. Welding Supply and motion industries should have specialty Rings. Jim

You need orings that are made with material will resist oil degradation, Viton or better. A place that rebuild hydraulics will have them or can get them for you.

Mike, Have you checked with your Case-IH dealer?I have taken several valves apart and always got o-rings from my Case-IH dealer. I have not had any problems with these. Think they might have an IH part number. Not sure if you can get an exact replacement with a standard o-ring kit. Al
