McCormick H magneto setting

I seen in one of the older postings that the magneto on the H tractor has to be set at .13. I have never had one of these apart. How do you set the Magneto?. Does it have to come off completly?

That number is off by a decimal point. It is .013" The mag needs to be set to #1 at TDC so the rotor can be replaced in correct timing, it is geared to the breaker cam! It can be set with it on the tractor, but must be taken apart beyond the cap to get to the points. Jim
