Farmall 300 hydraulic problems

Bought a nice unmolested Farmall 300 with fasthitch and touch control system. It appears I only have one-way hydraulics at this moment. Meaning, only one output on each circuit is working. I have seen a past post about you could set up this system to be one way, but I suspect it was not intended to be this way. Where would you start looking? What makes the spools active on both directions on the levers?

Each valve has a setting on top for either single or double action. If you're are set for single just turn them the other direction. I don't recall if the valve is labeled.

The valves are marked on top D for double, S for single. Takes a 9/16 wrench to move them. Need to remove the right hood side panel to get to them.

There are also only two positions for those spools. You don't need to know which way to turn them. If they're one way, turn them to the other position.
