Morning All,
A while back I asked how to replace the push button switch in dash on a 1967 IH Cub.
Its not really easy as you need to remove dash panel from gas tank and torque tube and slide it toward sterring wheel.
i didnt disconnect the accl or choke rods as it slides back just enough to get in with tools.
I was suprised every thing came loose with no problem with a little PB Blaster.
Only real problem was the switch I crossed the IH
number to my store number and it would not fit the hole button was too large. I ordered one From IH and it was the very same thing with my part number. after a little grinding it went in and hooked up every thing like it cane off. Went to fire it up still nothing like it was ?????
So it decided to replace battery terminals the cables if need be ,put a new one on the positive cable , hooked up every thing and she fired right up,
Wonderful to here her running again took her for a quick run around the yard , I think she liked it too.
