706 310 enj. pump

The enj. pump on my 706 310 ger. is leaking . Not the front seal but on the outside [ still runs fine ]. I went and seen the area goto pump guy and he tells me he cant get parts for the VA Bosch pumps which I have because they stopped making them . He knows of a pump place that has some but they wont sell them . Anybody know where a guy might get parts to rebuild this pump or is there another pump that will fit as a replacment . Thanks

Don't know where your from , But my pump man and i were talking a while back and harry told me that he can still get stuff for them. Harry is just north or New Castle Pa. phone # is 724-658-4690. Talk with Harry or Harry Jr.

I've been told that a pump from a 312 will fit.But you will also have to bend the injector lines,or find some from a 312.

Early 706 310 has either VA AR or BR version pump that need Bosch gasket kit DGK 125. These pumps have angled line outlet fittings. Replacement pump can be CR version with straight line outlets, needs DGK 124 kit. Very few hard parts are available for any VA hydraulic governed pump anymore. IH 312 engine used American Bosch Model 100 pump that turns engine speed, not half like VA or Roosa pump does. Take good care of filter service and VA pumps will last a long time, they also seize quickly if there is any water in fuel.
