IHC / Farmall C-153

Late winter 2011 my Dad and I built a "Farmall B" from nothing but accumulated parts my Dad had collected over the years. Well it really is more like a "Super B". It has a C-153 out of a haybine in it. It has a Super A transmission and a C center section and a Super C grill and file tank. We had to make trip to the salvage yard to buy a couple things like a floor pan and miscellaneous hardware. I say all this to ask my question. When we were doing the project we were told that a manifold that sent the exhaust stack straight up the center was never made for a 153. I saw one the other day on a power unit engine. Will a late C-135 manifold work on a C-153? The power unit engine had the C-153 cast right in the side. Is this rare? Should I buy it?

This is something I am very interested in. I have a Super C all in pieces in my garage. Besides getting a C-153 motor what changes are needed to install into the Super C? My e-mail is [email protected] thanks Joe

in put shaft needs to be shortend, fly wheel needs a bearing or bushing put in it due to the 153 crank not being drilled for it , some finagling with radiator hoses, those are the harder things to deal with just finished painting my 230 with a 153 in it. u def want a super c radiator and grill
