Please identify this planter

I acquired this planter with a SC. PO said it went to it. It's sure not like any SC planter I've ever seen or in any of the books I have.

I posted this on the implement forum but not getting much response.

From searching the internet I believe it's fits a Farmall Cub.

I can find no reference as to what planter model this is. I've never even seen the planter plates listed on fleabay.

Last plate is smaller that the other 2 probably 6" across.

Plates are from a couple different planters .
Not enough parts to tell, for me, what planter
you havde. Plates indicate it is a cole planter.

Parts of a Cub planter, at least mostly. I'm not sure about the part in the second picture. Not enough there to specify model, but probably a Cub-171 (most likely) or Cub-172. The seed hopper is the IH single seed hopper. It has interchangeable bottoms for different types of seeds.

Do you have a model # for the planter Hopper? I have multiple bottoms and plates. I'd like to
figure out which bottoms go with which plates.

For that I'll need a manual.

2nd picture is the same component as in picture 1,it's laying on it's side.

he hopper is simply known as the single seed hopper. It is a common unit, in other words the hopper was used with multiple planter models. Check this link:

K. I thought the mounting pads looked different between the 2 pictures. I wasn't sure about the shape as I could see it in the second picture.
