i recently bought a farmall 450d and found fuel in the fuel injection pump where there should be sae 30 oil, what could be the problem?

Several places to leak inside pump. It may be as simple as the seal on the primary pump shaft or as complex as the delivery valve tappets which would require a pretty much complete tear down of the pump. Lots of pumps over the years leaked. Some a little , some a lot. Lots of guys drained them, refilled with oil and if it didn't leak too bad , just changed it often. You could try turning the fuel off when parked for more than a few hours.
