Steering gear box on an A

Did the steering gear boxes on an A have a grease fitting? Mine has one and I'm thinking someone could have added it as the gear box is full of grease.

Grease is the lubricant of choice when the seals leak Just fine as is. If it needs to be rebuilt, it will be messier, but not much. Jim

The aerk is for the top bearing as the worm and gear run in 90wt the bushings were made to run with the 90wt as its hard for the grease to lube the two bushings and the worm will also work much better as they will be covered up with the 90wt. The steering box is realy a gearbox and they were made to run with 90wt. A real lite wt grease should be ok I have rebuilt several of them and always used the 90wt.
