What is the ideal compression with the 263 block everything is stock.thank you for your time

According to the engine manual, 7.2:1.

In good condition they will be anywhere from 165-185 at cranking speed.

I was thinking compression ratio, compression at cranking speed is listed as 145-165.

I did a test on it last night. I got 120 in all cylinders so it's not that bad. I'm fouling the two back plugs. I remember when I did rings in it a few years back that the cylinder walls looked pitted at the time. I'm just trying to track down my problem. Thanks for your time.

3616/606 - 7.65:1, 168 psi
656/706 - 7.6:1, 176 psi
LP engine - 8.7:1, 205 psi
